Server logs
The site is hosted by STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin. When a page is requested, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, time, file requested, browser identification. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest in secure and uninterrupted operation. These logs are not combined with other data and are deleted after a short period.
Display preference
Your choice between light and dark display is stored in your browser's local
storage (localStorage, key mm-thema). This is not a
cookie, never leaves your device and contains no identifier. Clearing your
browser data removes it.
The book finder
Your selections in the mood finder are evaluated in your browser only. Nothing is transmitted and nothing is stored.

Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR. As no personal data beyond server operation is collected here, there is usually no data about you on file. The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority applies regardless.
